Like I said in my previous post there are several ways the use keybinds. One of the most popular right now probably is configuring one key for use with multiple binds. I am going to show you how to setup such a bind loop which i myself use a lot for sound commands.
Lets say you want to have one key for all your team commands i.e. i need backup up now @ location yada yada. Ok this is how you set this up
/// teamlist // the name is not important only for you
seta teamlist "vstr teamlist1" seta teamlist1 say_team ^j#F @51 ^1Location: ^j#L; set teamlist vstr teamlist2" // I need backup NOW seta teamlist2 "say_team ^j#F @39 ^1he is at Location: ^j#L; set teamlist vstr teamlist3" // Cover me seta teamlist3 "say_team ^j#F @43 ^1he is at Location: ^j#L; set teamlist vstr teamlist1" // Watch out
That's the list which you can make as big as you want as long as you keep your head to numbering the different commands. Now that we are done creating the list we need to bind the list to a key in this case we use the F3 function key and this is how you bind it. bind F3 "vstr teamlist"
Now everytime i hit the F3 key you will hear one of the cammands from the list in the order you listed them.
This way i can communicate to my team mates were a target is located. I have set a lot of these loops in my game I even combined multiple lists under one singel key. In short there is a lot to learn about keybinds, have fun
