Keybinds are a great tool to play with inside sof2. People think up the most weird binds in order to have sof2 work like they want it to work. I am one of those keybind freaks . There are several ways of setting up good working binds but one does the trick for me though. What I did is i took all my custum keybinds and stuck them in a *.cfg file. In my case binds.cfg. When the game starts you go to console, type in in exec binds.cfg and voilá there's yah keybinds right there. You stick the cfg file in your so2/base/mp folder and your set. The advantage of creating a seperate config file is that you don't have to go through miles of code before you found your bind or vstr ( i will get to these l8ter ) loop. Using comments in your binds.cfg is smart so you keep sections of binds apart. If you dont want to execute this config file manually you cold edit your sof2mp.cfg file and add the executable line there like this at the very end of this file. // execute binds configuration exec binds.cfg That should do the trick right there. Have fun and dont shoot the messenger ;D
